Maram Battalion of the Assam Rifles took a significant step towards fostering self-sufficiency and skill development by distributing Baking and Biscuit Making equipment to the residents of Willong Khullen village in Senapati district, Manipur.

Commandant of Maram Battalion graced the event and saw the enthusiastic participation of locals as they received essential tools to embark on baking ventures. The Commandant, interacted with village authorities and residents, emphasizing the importance of community empowerment through such initiatives.

This endeavour not only equips the community with the means to generate income but also promotes self-reliance, aligning with the overarching goal of the Assam Rifles to contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.
